Angus T. Jones, who has played young Jake Harper on Two and a Half Men for the better part of a decade, recently referred to the show as “filth,” and pleaded with viewers not to watch it.

While speaking to Chris “The Forerunner” Hudson, an Adventist-leaning YouTube personality, Jones said: “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.”

He continued: “People say it’s just entertainment…Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to the television, especially with what you watch on the television.”

Jones said he is under contract to do the show for another year, but that “God has me there for a reason for another year.”

A portion of the interview is embedded below. Jones’ comments on the show begin at 7:37.
