The “next evolution of Tony Stark’s signature armor” was revealed July 14 at San Diego Comic Con. The gallery below displays the armor at various angles.

Scheduled for release on May 3, 2013, the movie will see the returns of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, and Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine. Ben Kingsley will appear as the villainous Mandarin, and Guy Pearce will play Aldrich Killian.
