Elmo, Big Bird, Bert & Ernie, the Count, Zoe, Oscar, and the rest of the cast of Sesame Street are reportedly on their way back to the big screen courtesy of 20th Century Fox.

Attached to the project as both a director and producer is Shawn Levy, who has helmed films like A Night at the Museum and Real Steel. Longtime show writer Joey Mazzarino is reportedly attached to do the script.

Sesame Street has been brought to the big screen twice before. Sesame Street Presents Follow That Bird was released in 1985, and Elmo in Grouchland came out in 1999.
