Adrianne Palicki has been cast as Wonder Woman in NBC’s upcoming television show based on the character.

Palicki has worked on Smallville, Supernatural, and was in the film Legion. She also played Siren in the pilot made for an Aquaman show, which wasn’t picked up.

The Wonder Woman show is being developed by David E. Kelley, who has previously developed such hits as Ally McBeal, Boston Legal and The Practice. She can soon be seen alongside Chris Hemsworth in the remake of Red Dawn.

Between 1975 and 1979 ABC, and later CBS, aired a Wonder Woman television show, which famously starred Lynda Carter as the Amazon Princess.
